Keep your pants on when you sit in that massage chair.
That safety tip has been honored as the nation's wackiest warning label in an annual competition sponsored by a group advocating changes in the nation's civil liability system.
"Do not use massage chair without clothing ... and, never force any body part into the backrest area while the rollers are moving," the label said.
Now in its sixth year, the Wacky Warning Label Contest is sponsored by Michigan Lawsuit Abuse Watch.
The suburban Detroit group says its contest is designed to show that fear of lawsuits has led companies to lose their common sense.

Lawsuits brought by injured consumers are far from frivolous, according to the Center for Justice and Democracy in New York, a group defending the right to sue.
"Lawsuits brought by injured consumers have saved millions of lives and prevented innumerable injuries by forcing manufacturers to place critical warning labels on products," the group said on its Web site.

But according to the New York group, warning labels prompted by concern about lawsuits are no laughing matter and far from "wacky."
"This is no time to joke about one of the most effective ways we have to protect the public safety," it said
"Far from being frivolous, lawsuits save lives, and we as a society would suffer tremendously if our civil justice system were weakened in any significant respect," the group said.
